Realistic Review

Okay, so here’s the honest take: I like my 501KC a lot, but it’s not flawless. Pros: Flip mechanism works well, keys are comfortable to press, it’s rugged and reliable. I sideloaded a few apps and they run (though some don’t). Battery life is decent. But: the Android version is old so expect some compatibility issues, and if you live outside Japan your network support may be patchy you’ll really only receive 2G coverage for some US carriers. If you know what you’re getting into, it’s a solid choice. If you want “everything modern”, maybe look elsewhere.
